1. Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us and limited technical information created when you use the website.
Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use the website, you may provide:
- Contact details: your name, work email address, company name, company website and, where a form offers it as an optional field, a phone number.
- Project details: through the Start a Project form, the area you want to improve, an approximate project range, timing, your current systems or technology stack, and a description of the problem.
- Workflow Assessment answers: the workflow type and description, workflow inputs, manual process steps, desired outputs, estimated process volume and handling time, the number of people involved, workflow complexity information (such as rework, exceptions, predictability, approval requirements, data sensitivity and system integration options) and your desired automation outcomes.
- Messages and notes you add to a form or send to us by email.
- Booking-related actions: if you follow a link to schedule a call, the external scheduling provider collects the details you enter there and makes the booking details available to us so that we can prepare for and hold the meeting.
Please do not submit sensitive information
The Workflow Assessment and project forms are intended to describe business processes, not to transfer real records. Please do not submit:
- passwords, credentials, API keys or access tokens
- payment card details or bank account information
- medical or health records
- government identification numbers
- actual customer datasets or confidential customer documents
- any other sensitive information that is not needed to describe your request
The website’s forms do not accept file or document uploads.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website, our hosting, security and application infrastructure may automatically process technical information, such as:
- IP address
- browser type and version
- device information and operating system
- the pages and resources you request
- the date and time of requests
- the referring page, where your browser provides it
- technical logs, including errors and performance information
- security signals used to detect bots, abuse and attacks
- usage events recorded by our first-party analytics, such as pages viewed and assessment or form milestones (see Website Usage Analytics)
- approximate location, such as country or region, derived from network information where applicable
The website does not request precise location information from your device.
3. The Workflow Assessment
The Workflow Assessment allows you to describe an existing business process and receive a conceptual Automation Blueprint.
While you complete the assessment, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so that your progress is not lost between steps. Contact details are not stored there. Your answers are not sent to us until you submit the final review form, except that, when usage analytics is active, we record anonymous milestones (such as starting the assessment or completing a step) with the workflow type and automation-fit category, never your descriptions, notes or contact details. When you submit the review form, we save your answers, the calculated Blueprint and your contact details in our database, email you a copy of the Blueprint and notify our team.
We may use assessment information to:
- generate your Automation Blueprint
- estimate manual workload from the volume and handling time you supply
- determine an automation-fit classification
- generate workflow recommendations
- identify areas that may benefit from human review
- respond to your request for an engineering review
- evaluate a potential consulting or project engagement
The current assessment uses deterministic application logic: the same answers produce the same results. It is not an AI decision-making system, and its results describe your workflow rather than you.
The Blueprint is conceptual. It is not a final production architecture, security assessment, compliance determination or implementation guarantee.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate and maintain the website
- provide Workflow Assessment functionality
- generate Automation Blueprints
- respond to inquiries
- evaluate potential projects
- communicate with you about services you have asked about
- send transactional emails you request
- schedule calls you request
- protect forms from bots and abuse
- prevent fraud and security incidents
- diagnose technical issues
- improve site reliability and user experience
- measure how the website, Workflow Assessment and forms are used, so we can improve them

We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
5. Email Communications
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails, such as:
- Automation Blueprints you request
- confirmations and copies of inquiries you submit
- messages related to an inquiry or assessment you submitted
Your submission is also emailed to our team so that we can respond, and we may reply to you from our business email.
Submitting an assessment or inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing newsletters. If we introduce marketing email in the future, it will use a separate, appropriate opt-in and an unsubscribe option.
6. Service Providers
We use independent service providers to operate the website. They are not owned by PathWebSolutions. They process information as necessary to perform services for us and operate under their own contractual and privacy obligations. Current providers include:
- Vercel
- Website hosting and application infrastructure
- Supabase
- Database and backend infrastructure for Workflow Assessment submissions and our first-party usage analytics
- Resend
- Transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- Bot and abuse prevention on protected forms
- Scheduling provider
- External appointment scheduling when you choose to book a meeting
Our team also uses business email and productivity tools to receive and respond to messages.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety and security of PathWebSolutions, website users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
7. Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on protected forms, such as the final Workflow Assessment submission, to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical, browser and network information needed for fraud and bot detection, such as your IP address and browser characteristics. We pass your IP address to Cloudflare with the verification request, but we do not store it in assessment or lead records.
Turnstile is used for security, not advertising or tracking. For details, see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information (opens in a new tab).
8. Website Usage Analytics
We use our own first-party analytics to understand how the website is used: for example, which pages are viewed, how many visitors start and finish the Workflow Assessment, which steps people stop at, and whether forms and booking links are used. This helps us improve the website, the assessment and how we respond to inquiries. The data is stored in our own database and is not sent to advertising networks or third-party analytics providers.
What we record
- the type of event, such as a page view, an assessment step completed or a booking link clicked
- the page path, without query strings or other URL details
- the website link that led to a page, where known
- limited categories, such as the workflow type, assessment step, automation-fit result or which booking link was used
- a random session identifier, described below
- the time the event was received, set by our server
Analytics events do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, project descriptions, assessment notes or other free text, IP addresses or device fingerprints. A booking link click is recorded as a click only; it does not tell us whether a meeting was booked.
The session identifier
When analytics is active, your browser keeps a random identifier in session storage for the current tab. It is cleared when the tab is closed and is not based on your identity, IP address or device. It lets us connect events within one visit, for example that an assessment was started and later completed.
When you successfully submit the Workflow Assessment or a project inquiry, our server records that a submission occurred, with its category (such as workflow type and automation fit) and, when analytics is active, the session identifier. If analytics is off, the submission is still counted, without the identifier. Because submissions are also kept with your contact details for business purposes, analytics records connected to a submission could in principle be associated with you. We do not use analytics to identify individuals.
Your choices
Analytics does not run if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also turn it off for this browser here; your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage.
